On Tuesday, the Youth Congress organized a protest in the office of the Agency for New and Renewable Research and Technology (Anert) and demanded a complex probe into alleged inconsistencies and corruption, which is involved in the execution of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Surraksha Evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM).
Congress for youth also demanded the removal of Anert Nandra Nath Veruri from the post.
The leader of the Ramesh Chennithal Congress has equalized the accusation of corruption against Anert in connection with the implementation of the PM-KUSUM system. Despite the severity of the allegations, the Minister of Electricity K. Krishhnankutty did not take any steps against the CEO, they claimed.
Congress workers for youth were later removed by the police.
The protest was led by the State Secretary of the Congress for Youth Rajith Ravendran and Afsal, District Vice President of Sulfi Balamarapuram and district secretary Gokul Shankar.
