
With the nomination of the triple legislator and former President of the Congress of the District Congress in Kannau Sunny Joseph at the attitude of the Congress Committee of Keral Pradesh (KPCC), the main command of Congress hopes to experience the successful Christian-Nair Binary before this year’s local authorities and a survey of 2026.

He was born in Thodupuzha as the eldest son of Vadakekunnel Joseph and Rosakutta and chased early education in Ulikal, Edoor and Kilianthara, followed by graduation at Newman’s university, Thodupuzha and legal title from the Government University of Kozhikode.
During his student days he was active in the student movement, held positions at the University University University and as a representative of students at the University of Calicut Syndicate.
Mr. Joseph’s political journey began with the Youth Congress, where he held various positions-the President at the level of Panchayat after the President of the District Youth and later the President of the District Congress for six years.
He also served as the District Chairman of the UDF and was involved in the local administration as President of the company ULIKAL SERVICE COOPERATIVE Bank, Thalassery Taluk Agricultural Development Bank and member of the Kannur district Panchayat.
As President of the Mattannur Bar Association, he was also a practicing defending champion in Mattannur and Thalassery courts. In 2011, he entered the assembly defeated by the leader of CPI (m) KK Shailaya from the perimeter of the peraral.
Mr. Joseph was active in dealing with agricultural questions and conducted the fight for the well -being of farmers. Its three -side management of the Action Committee for the Iritta Taluk formation culminated in the government’s decision to create 12 new taluks, including Iitta.
