After US President Donald Trump repeated his claim – according to Congress 25, that he had stopped the recent conflict between India and Pakistan, the party’s leaders questioned the ongoing “silence” in this matter.
Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the opposition in Lok Sabha, said that “something fish” that Modi could not respond to the repeated claim of Mr. Trump to facilitate income. President of MALLIKARJUN KHARGE said that the Prime Minister “shows weakness” by being silent.
On Tuesday, the US President again said he had stopped a recent conflict that “could end up in a nuclear war” and added that five aircraft were shot down during the war.
‘PM should react firm’
“Trump constantly says he has facilitated the ceasefire, but Narendra Modi is silent, does not match. Narendra Modi wants to be subordinate to Trump? The country is the most important, and therefore we supported the government,” Mr. Kharge told reporters. “In such a situation, when Trump repeatedly states that he has brought a ceasefire and insults India, the Prime Minister should react firmly. This somehow shows a weakness.”
Mr. Gandhi said that PM could not react, because “the whole world knows” the truth about the situation. “It is not just a ceasefire we want to discuss big problems. There are problems related to defense, defense industry, Sindoor operations. The situation is not good and the whole world knows. Those called patriots will run away.
“Something Fish”
“Trump said 25 times that” I got a ceasefire, “who is Trump to make a truce?
The government agreed to organize a parliamentary discussion of Sindoor operation, when the Prime Minister returns from his trip from the country, Mr. Gandhi said. “On the one hand, you (government) say the Sindoor operation is going on and on the other you say that victory has been achieved. Either victory has been achieved or Sindoor is going. Trump says I stopped Sindoora, said it 25 times.
