Congress on Saturday (July 26, 2025) accused the party of Haratiya Janat of the implementation of “small policy”, without constitutional principles, referring to reports that claimed that the opposition announcement in Rajya Sabha was presented only in the upper part of the house.
The Congress’s attack on Narendra Modi came the day after the Minister of Parliament’s affairs Kiren Rijija claimed that they would not have any doubts and that the proceedings would be initiated at Lok Sabha.
At Lok Sabha, the government secured signatures of 152 deputies across the political spectrum to shift the announcement against the Varma judge to face the accusation of corruption after the tastes of burned currency notes discovered in his official stay in Delhi on March-v Rajya Sabha.
Solving a press conference in the ALL India (AIC) Congress Committee, a spokesman for Congress and Rajya Sabha Abhishek Singhvi, former chairman of Rajya Sabha Jagdeep Dhankhar of July 21st in the house to claim that 63 opposition members.
Mr Singhvi further argued that the comments of the former chairman made it clear that after the consultation with Lok Sabha speaker only had to be established by the Act on the Inquiry Act, under the Act on Judges (Investigation).

“If there was no movement (in Rajya Sabha), then a shadow box or a drama took place?” The leader of Congress asked.
He asked if BJP believes in the “One Nation One Party” approach, because he does not want to recognize the opposition announcement and claimed that Mr. Dhankhar’s departure is “a political exit masked as a constitutional lie”.
Mr. Singhvi also accused the BJP of adopting double standards in his approach to court matters, in particular as to the judge of the varma, as well as Judge Shekhar Yadav, against whom the opposition has shifted the announcement of alleged municipal remarks.
“We are also very concerned about this selective outrage and selective silence for Varma Justice, judge Yadav-judges. This is a typical double standard BJP.
