Cong. the leader seeks a white paper on keeping promises

Congress leader Gidugu Rudraraju on Monday asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to fulfill the promises made during the bifurcation of the state and urged for a White Paper on the status of implementation of all funds, projects, institutions, appointments and rights vested in Andhra Pradesh under the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act, 2014.

In a post on X, the Congress leader said that 12 years have passed since the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act, 2014, but several commitments and legal obligations to the people of Andhra Pradesh remain unfulfilled.

People of Andhra Pradesh are still waiting for special category status, full funding and completion of Polavaram project, Kadapa steel plant, industrial corridor and infrastructure projects, educational and medical institutions promised under the law, employment opportunities through central projects and investments and release of all funds and implementation of all guarantees promised during bifurcation.
