Pakistan and Afghanistan clashes: How did the situation escal?
According to Pakistani security officials and the Taliban, Pakistan reportedly carried out air strikes in the capital of Afghanistan in Kabul and the market in East Afghanistan. He focused on what was allegedly militant shelters.
Pakistan officially did not recognize air strikes, but asked Taliban to limit the activities of Pakistan Taliban.

Meanwhile, the Zabihullah Mujahid, a spokesman for the Taliban government, said the incident was “airspace violation”.
This started retaliatory attacks by the Taliban. Afghan troops launched fire at Pakistani border positions late on Saturdays and performed retaliatory operations against Pakistani positions along the controversial Durand line.

“If the contradictory party again violates the territorial integrity in Afghanistan, our armed forces are fully prepared to defend the boundaries of the nation and provide a strong response,” the Ministry of Defense said soon on Sunday morning.
In its statement, the Pakistani army said in the intervening night from the 11th-12th. October, Afghan Taliban and Tehreek-E-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) “launched an unprovoked attack on Pakistan along the then-Afghan border”.
Afghan forces reportedly aimed at Pakistani contributions in Angoor Adda, Bajaur, Kurram, Dir and Chitral in Khyber thenhtunkhwa and Baramch in Balochistan.

Radio Pakistan’s State broadcaster announced that the army responded to permanent fire from the Afghan side focused on these Pakistani functions.
The exchanges were mostly on Sunday morning, Pakistani security officials said. But in the Pakistani region of the Kurram, according to local officials and residents, Reuters, Reuters reported.

Kábul “pauses” for now

Mujahid, however, said that fighting in some areas is taking place.

How many were killed in conflict in Pakistan-Afghanistan this week?
