
The Committee of Trade Unions (JCTU) will organize the 4th May Convention on the District Convention as a prelude to the nationwide protest 20 May to release the strategy fighting against anti -fabric policies watched by the Central Government led by BJP.
The Convention is organized by the United Trade Unions ALL India (AIUTUC), All India Union Congress (Aituc), the Center of the Indian Trade Union (Cit) and the Indian National Trade Union Congress (IntuC).
The District Secretary of Aiutuc SM Sharma and the President of the District of Cit Shant Ghanti, who dealt with a press conference, said that the conference would emphasize challenges facing organized and unorganized sectors.
Mr. Sharma and the District Secretary of the Cit MB Sajjan said these four working codes framed by the merger of 44 Central Working Acts are against the worker’s bliss.
These are the Code on wages 2019, the Industrial Relations Code 2020, safety, health and working conditions at work 2020 and the social security code 2020.
The Convention will discuss the Charter of Requirements, including the implementation of basic principles and rights at work (FPRW), against the privatization of public sector companies, which ensures minimum wages and cancellation of the contracting system.
The conference will also invite the government to assign adequate funds to educational and medical sectors and provide a minimum pension of 6,000 GBP for workers.
