The Madras High Court ordered the National Test Agency (NTA) to see if there was a power outage at one of the Centers in Avadi during the NEET (UG) 4th test, and whether it affected the performance of students.
The justice of V. Lakshminarayanan also ordered that the results should not be announced until NTA calls. Furthermore, given the fact that the results were planned to publish only 14 June 2025, the judge decided to hear this matter another 2 June alone.
Provisional orders were handed over to a written petition filed together by 13 students who wrote an exam in PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya CRPF, Avadi. The petitioners said they started writing a three -hour examination at 2 pm, but from 15:00 they met with strong precipitation
“There was a outage from approximately 15:00 to 16:15 in the test center.
The petitioners stated that a total of 464 students were assigned in this center, they said that some students had to give up from the assigned chairs to enter the rainwater. “The situation has created a very unpleasant and disturbing environment that seriously hinders the ability of the petitioners and other candidates to concentrate and perform their best of their abilities,” they complained.
“Despite disruption, the investigative authorities did not provide the disabled students for no time. Since the petitioners were unable to fully complete the examination. This was the petitioners who wrote in this center in this center that students had re-processing for all students in the center.
