Hundreds of people gathered in the Kondapall Fortress on the outskirts of Vijayawady on Saturday to participate in the Yogandra program organized by the NTR district administration.
The district collector G. Lakshmisha said that the administration organizes programs as part of the Yogandho monthly campaign in every village, mandala, tourist and historical location since May 21. Administration also organized such programs on the hill Gandhi, Pavatra Sangam and Harith Berm Park in Vijayawada.
Mr. Lakshmisha encouraged people to practice yoga for 45 minutes after a healthy life every day. “Yoga is a panacea for all lifestyle problems that young people fall, such as BP, diabetes, hormonal imbalance and stress,” the collector said, adding that the aim of organizing such programs is to raise awareness among people about its benefits.
Later, AP Negazetted officers of the Association President A. Vidyasagar, thanked the administration for the organization of such programs and encouraged the public to make yoga part of their lives.

As part of the program, the fortress came to life with cultural programs, performed by Amaravati yoga and aerobics. Students from the Academy of Sirisha Yoga Academy and Government Nursing College impressed their enthusiasts with their Sindoor-S theme.
District officials, public, students, members of the state of NGOs participated.
