Concomitant evaluation and monitoring of CEMS in the fiscal department 2025-26 will cover 32 schemes under eight government authorities.
Four schemes from the Department of Higher Education, Fishing, Development of Women and Children, Health and Family Care, Electronics and Information Technology, Public Works, Tourism and Social Justice will be covered in CEM 2025-26.
The state government again introduced annual performance budgets for selected departments on the recommendations of the public accounts Committee. In addition to exercise, CEMS is performed.
CEMS is an analysis of physical and financial progress of government programs and schemes in real time. The aim of the exercise, which carries out the financial (performance budget) departments, is also aimed at accelerating the implementation of important government programs and schemes by identifying “narrow places” and supporting coordination between the parties.
As with the performance budget, CEMS reports are also submitted in the State Legislative Assembly.
