As RCB completed a successful title defence, fans across the country erupted in celebrations, setting off fireworks and cheering their team on to claim yet another historic achievement.With the triumph, RCB became only the third franchise in IPL history after Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians to win back-to-back titles.While RCB lifted the trophy, the season belonged to Rajasthan Royals batting sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. The 15-year-old enjoyed a remarkable campaign and swept the individual awards after a record-breaking season.Sooryavanshi finished as the top scorer of the tournament with 776 runs and won the Orange Cap. He also won the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award, the Rookie of the Season award, the Super Striker of the Season award with a strike rate of 237.3 and the Super Sixes award after smashing 72 sixes during the tournament.Gujarat Titans pacer Kagiso Rabada won the Purple Cap after finishing as the season’s highest wicket-taker with 29 wickets.Punjab Kings were honored with the Fairplay Award for their exemplary conduct throughout the tournament.RCB’s Manish Pandey won the Catch of the Season award for his stunning one-handed catch at backward point to dismiss Tim David during the league encounter against Kolkata Knight Riders.Gujarat Titans all-rounder Mohammed Siraj received the Green Dot Ball award for bowling the most dots in the season as he delivered 172 balls.Gujarat Titans’ Sai Sudharsan was awarded for hitting the most fours in the tournament, finishing with 75 boundaries.The Cricket Association of Bengal received the Pitch and Ground Award in the category for venues hosting five or more matches, while the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association won the award in the category for venues hosting four or less matches.
