The state police suspended another officer connected to the Peroorkada police station in connection with the illegal detention of Nedumangad Native Bindu, the Dalitian woman and the domestic worker, for the trumpeted accusation of the stole of the Golden Reserve from her employer’s house.
The head of the district police (Thiruvananthapuram) Thomson Jose issued orders suspending assistant under the Inspector of Pilicnakumar for the damage to Women’s Watering at the Police Station.
The investigation carried out by the assistant of the Cantonment Police Commissioner found Prasnakumar guilty of the reward for duty, while he is in charge of the entry of a general diary on a particular day (23 April).
The complainant also accused him of bothering her and throwing abuse. She also claimed that the officer asked her to drink water from the toilet as she asked for water.
Disciplinary measures come two days after the Sub-Invpector of the PeroorkaDA Prasad SG has been suspended in connection with the incident. The official sources indicated that the ongoing investigation would continue, and possible measures may be taken against more officials present at the station when the incident occurred.
