The inauguration edition will take place on May 24 at the Tau Devi Lal stadium in Panchkule, Haryan. After 374 days, this one -day event will indicate the return of Neer Chopry to a competitive action on Indian soil, making it a historical opportunity for Indian athletics.
The event organized by Neeraj in cooperation with JSW Sports received the main support at the beginning of this year when President of World Athletics Sebastian Coe approved it on 11 January. Confirmation of its data not only signals the beginning of the competition, but also represents an important milestone for the Indian sports landscape. It is a long -term vision to turn Neera Chopra Classic into annual accessories in the global athletic calendar and eventually expand with other track and field disciplines.

Neera’s last trip on home land came during the Bhubaneswar Federation Cup in May 2024. He has competed at Elite International Meets, including Diamond League in Brussels in September, where he finished second with 87.86 m. Finally, break the elusive 90 meters.
