SRM University on Sunday (August 24, 2025) meant the anniversary of the birth of TR Paarivendhara by organizing extensive tree plantation, sweetness and fruit distribution to children and seniors and giving the plant to the children’s house.
Management, faculty and employees were actively involved in the community service, which identified the celebrations of the founders of SRM University-AP. Vice Chancellor University Ch. Satish Kumar and the registrar of R. Premkumar led a massive plantation of trees and emphasized the importance of greenery and sustainability.
Students actively participated in the plantation program and strengthened the emphasis of the university in experiential learning and their role of responsible citizens.
Within the activities of institutional social responsibility (ISR), students also joined the members of the Faculty in the distribution of sweets to children free of teaching centers operated by the University of Nidamarr, Kuragall and Neerond Villages. Teachers were submitted to special gifts who managed these centers as recognition of their determination. Fruits were distributed to students of the Nidamarre Christian Children’s House, where the university also donated a water plant RO, as administrators demanded.
Later, in the home of the AMMA Staro Age in Mangalagiri, the residents were distributed to fruit and rice and the main advisors of the University of VS Rao provided a personal gift of 5,000 GBP. Students accompanied the faculty and employees in these activities.
On this occasion, professional Chancellor Ch. Satish Kumar and Dr. Paarivendhar, whose values continue to inspire the university community. They emphasized the importance of involvement of students in ISR initiatives and sustainability that install empathy, responsibility and leadership. The celebration was attended by directors of Anup Singh universities, Major General Gurdeep Singh Narang, Pankaj Belwariar, Repathi Balakrishnan and other dignitaries.
