Corruption officials (ACB) were imprisoned on Friday by a joint subregistrar-II from the registration and stamps department K. Srinivas Reddy in Adilabad, while allegedly accepted a bribe from the complainant for official kindness.
According to ACB sources, the defendant allegedly demanded a complainant’s bribe to register gift list concerning the complainant’s residential house.
ACB Sleuths, who acted on the complaint, laid traps and accepted the bribe of the official “red hand”.
The amount of bribe of 5,000 GBP was obtained from the possession of the accused officer. It was taken into custody and was made before the ACB court in Karimnagar.
