Guntur Municipal Commissioner Puli Srinivasulu on Tuesday issued a strict warning to the department to secretaries who were absent during working hours without prior consent or announcement.
During the surprising inspection on Tuesday (August 5, 2025) on several Ward secretariats, including those near the Sanakkayal factory, Kugler Hospital Road and Gunturuvari Thota, the Commissioner expressed serious negligence of the negligence of employees.
The show announcement was issued to secretaries after the authorities were found locked or unmanned during the official hours. In several cases, officials did not sign participation and left the office. He ordered the employees to report and explain their absence in person, and warned that the measures of the department would be taken against those who neglect their duties.
Mr. Srinivasul stressed that all secretaries must strictly monitor working hours, remain available to the public and be responsible. He also said that daily surprising checks will be carried out in the future. Any official who is concerned about government work or surveys must be properly recorded and must only be sanctioned through nodes or clerk of the department.
