Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced that the report presented by the Pinak Chandra Ghos Commission, which asked the alleged inconsistencies and illegality in the KaleshwaAM lift irrigation project, will be given in the assembly for a thorough discussion.
The main minister stated that the meeting of the legislature would soon be convened to bring the views of all political parties on the future procedure that should be admitted to find out the report. “We will look at all political parties. The opposition leader K. Chandrashekr Rao and his party can report opinions on the report,” he said.
Mr. Revant Reddy spoke on Monday (August 4) after the meeting of the State Cabinet, which approved the Ghose Commission report. He lamented that the previous government, led by Mr. Chandrashekhar Rao, moved the location of the project Pranahit Chevella on behalf of Redesign and commissioned the construction of Medigadda Barrage against the recommendations of the expert. Two other repackages of Annaram and Opundilla, which are part of the project, also developed cracks, said that the addition of retaining decisions of the previous government led to a project, which was charged as a life rope for Telangana.
He said that the Congress Government appointed the Judicial Commission in accordance with the promise made in the election manifesto and the commission made a thorough review of more than 110 people, including Mr. Chandrašekhar Rao, then the Minister of irrigation T. Harish Rao and Finance Minister Eatal Rajender before completing her report. “There is no policy. The Commission is an independent judicial authority, not government,” he said he answered questions about BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavita. He said that Mrs. Kavita should represent her case to the Commission, if she has problems rather than criticizing the government now.
Deputy Minister Malla Bhatti Vikramarka criticized the former main minister and President BRS for the introduction of the assembly with his claims for the Kaleshwaam project. When suppressing a report of the expert committee against the construction of barriers, the previous government claimed that the project had approved from the cabinet and met all the requirements. “It is the only decision of the then main minister to change the project with the claims that there is no water availability in Tummidihatti. This was at the time when the then trade union Jal Shakti Uma Bharti approved the hydrological permit for the pranahita project based on the basis of 205 TMCFT,” he said.
