Almost two and a half years after the project and reconstruction of the NALA patrol were completed and the improved drain was inaugurated near the Rasoolpura intersection, the Hyderabad (Hyderabad (Hyderaa) agency) withdrew the commercial building blocking.
The original width of Nala, to 70 feet, was narrowed 15 to 18 feet near the culvert in the middle of the buildings that were built against the NALA. In 2022, the drain was rebuilt near the Rasoolpura intersection by 10 Crore.
The pass near the old Anand Theater of Rasoolpura The intersection is 18 meters wide (60 feet), but the drain that collects flood water from the Cantonment Cantonment area narrows to just five meters (16 feet) before entering the Patny Properties Stretch, Thursday. When Hasmathpet connects the drain with the picke in the same place, it turned out that the tapered runoff was not insufficient to transport the flood water.
After confirming the penetration of the Hydraa force, six structures were demolished on the section of 150 meters on the outflow. The expanding and retaining walls of the wall will be immediately started, which will be completed in 15 days, informed by officials.
Due to the narrowing of the outflow, places such as Paigah Colony, Patny Colony, Viman Nagar, Bhel Colony and Indiramma Nagar experience. Hydraa received several complaints before the action was involved, the agency’s statement was reported.
“Only a handful of private individuals/ buildings suffer from thousands of inhabitants in the locality. Many of them come from the wrong/ middle class. Even for 2-5 centimeters collision, the water stagnates and causes huge losses to the poor and lower middle classes (SIC),” Hydraa Av Ranganath said.
The section was also de-metered as part of operations that phenomenally increase the discharge or load capacity of NALA, he said.
Hydraa is now studying all areas where water logging is a frequent phenomenon to understand causal factors, and more operations will be accepted against interventions in water bodies to ensure that the lower middle class that does not suffer.
Commercial buildings that prevent the flow of water in the polish themselves will be removed. If any structures of poor people are to be removed in emergency situations, Hydraa deals with the government’s matter for compensation, Mr. Ranganath said.
