
After Colonel Prasad Shrikant Purohit was liberated in Malegaon Blast in 2008 by the NIA court. He thanked the court for the “fulfillment of justice”, Lt Col Purohit said he was “very grateful” to the nation and those who stood with him during the 17 -year -old legal battle.
Colonel Prasad Shrikant Purohit said with the media after his liberation in the Malegaon Blast case, he said: “I am extremely grateful to the country and those who stood in our country. I am grateful judiciary for understanding the case and delivery of justice to all of us.”
“During the fight, the armed forces stood with me. I have no words to express gratitude to everyone,” he said.
PR. Col Purohit, which was renewed in the army until court, said he was involved in the case and claimed to continue to serve the nation as before and with the same force. “No investigative agency is bad; they are people who serve in these agencies who are wrong. This nation is great. We have to ensure that wrong people do not come out and make people like us,” Purohit said.
Case Malegaon Blast

In addition to Pragya Thakur and Lt Col Purohit, Major Ramesh Upadhyay (retired), Ajay Rahirkar, Sudhakar Dwivedi, Sudhakar Chaturvedi and Samer Bulkari were also accused. All of them were obtained by a special court in Mumbai.
