Andhra Pradesh Interior Minister Vangalapudi Anith asked the collector to open the checkpoints and take measures to prevent loss of life and property, in the middle of the prediction of heavy rain.
Mrs. Anith on Friday reviewed the collisions with district collectors of deductions. She asked officers to ensure that the national strength of the reaction to disasters (NDRF) and the state strength of the reaction to disasters (SDRF), fire services and police officials remained a preliminary subject to take over rescue and rehabilitation operations if necessary.
“Fishermen should not start the sea. People should not try to cross overflowing channels and rivulets. They should also avoid standing under the trees and accumulating to protect them from lightning,” the Minister of the Interior said.
The officers were told to build warning councils in vulnerable places and turn to the control room in an emergency, Mrs. Anith added.
