Collector Vandana Garg inaugurated the new state-of-the-art Aadhaar Seva Kendra (ASK) commissioned by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) at Tiruvannamalai on Thursday.

Equipped with four operational suites, the center provides a single window interface for new registrations, demographic and biometric updates and grievance redressal, the report said.

The center will operate from 9.30am to 5.30pm on all days except public holidays. It has facilities such as wheelchair access and dedicated support systems. It will also register complaints for resolution through the Regional Office.

With this launch, UIDAI now operates 13 ASKs across Tamil Nadu, with 17 more facilities slated to open soon.

The centre, run by M/s Protean eGov Technologies Limited, supports pre-booked online appointments through the official portal (Rahul Jayanth Karnak, Regional Director, UIDAI was also present, the report said.
