
The Bhind district collector in Madhya Pradesh was caught on a camera that slapped a student who appeared at a test at a local university, an event claimed to have been affected by a mass copying rocket in the center.
The alleged video about the incident held 1 April appeared on Saturday (July 13, 2025) on the social media, in which the collector of Sanjeev Shrivastava shows how the student slap several times in the exam center.
Mr. Shrivastava spoke to PTI on Sunday (July 13, 2025) and said his strict grilling of the boy had arrested a bulk copying missile.

The video shows that the collector challenges the student inside the test center, and when the other did not answer, he saw him slap several times.
The student, Rohit Rathhore, was later banned to appear for the exam, and accused of sending his BSC physics questionnaire outside the center to solve and return it.
After the video became viral on social media, local reporters turned to Mr. Rathor, who claimed that he went to the toilet during the rehearsal and returned to find that his questionnaire was missing.
“The collector arrived at the same time and slapped me without asking anything. My ear hurts and I had no chance to explain,” he said, saying that a cheating case was served against him.
The collector said he wrote at Jiwaja University, Gwalior to scrap the recognition of the examiner, and therefore the management at the university escaped their CCTV shots.

Meanwhile, a spokesman for the National Party Samajwadi, Yash Bhartiya, demanded investigations and strict steps against the collector.
