Sumit Kumar District Collector asked officials of the Animal Breeding Department to initiate steps for farmers to take advantage of the opportunities in the milk and poultry sector, except for agriculture. On Thursday, the collector convened an appointment with farmers, along with the officials of the animal breeding department to create awareness of work opportunities in the field of poultry and milk.
The collector said that farmers who are interested in poultry will have the training of successful poultry farmers in coordination with the National Egg Coordination Committee (NECC). The government will also discuss with the bank officials and provide loans to those who are interested in setting up poultry farms.
Mr. Sumit Kumar asked the participating farmers to prepare a detailed report on the project (DPR). He asked officials to prepare a list of those interested in investing in the poultry and milk sector and make sure that the banks will be discussing loans to those interested.
The NECC Ramesh Executive Committee said those who are interested in this industry can succeed in business and make sure they will expand all possible support.
