The Sumit Kumar district collector asked officials to prepare plans well in advance to ensure that people did not differ in the summer of drinking water during the summer.
The collector on Wednesday organized an appointment with Mandal Parisad Development Officials and MPDOS and rural water supply (RWS) on steels to be undertaken to alleviate water deficiency. He said that MPDO and Panchayat secretaries should take responsibility for the provision of drinking water to people at the mandal level. He asked RWS officials to check if the water tankers were cleaning once a month, and the release shows that Panchayat secretaries cause notifications if not.
Mr Sumit Kumar ordered MPDOS and RWS officials to visit the villages, assured that drinking water was supplied, and if water was found to be contaminated, it would take the necessary steps. The collector asked officials to deepen the proposals before sending proposals to deepen parts.
