District Collector A. Siri has asked the officials to ensure the smooth conduct of the SSC examinations to be held from March 16 to April 1.
The examination will be held from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM and the Collector has asked the students to reach the allotted examination center by 9:00 AM. She said students and invigilators will not be allowed to carry mobile phones into the examination centres.
She asked the police to impose bans near the examination centers to prevent crowding. The Ministry of Labor has been asked to ensure that all copier shops around the centers remain closed on the day of the examination.
Education Ministry officials said 33,796 regular students and 1,975 private students will appear for the exams and 160 examination centers will be set up.
