
Hours after the school building collapsed on Friday in the Rajasthan district of Jhalawar, two students said they noticed that stones were falling from the roof and informing their teacher. However, their complaints were ignored.
Part of the Government School in Rajasthan’s Jhalawar district collapsed as well as students gathered for morning prayers, killed seven children, and left 28 injured, some of them critically.
“When we were sitting in the classroom, Stones began to fall from the roof. We immediately informed our teacher, but what we said was ignored. Later the roof collapsed,” two students said.
Part of government schools Piplodi building classes 6 and 7 retreated and buried about 35 children, the police said.
Nine children in the ICU
The score of people, including frantic teachers and parents, has helped in rescue efforts, searches of concrete, bricks and stones to pull out buried children.
The PTI press agency reported that police officials were informed about the tragedy in the village of Piplodi around 7:45 pm.

“Seven children have died so far,” said Nand Kishhore Verma, a show from the police station in Manoharthana, about 80 km from the district headquarters of Jhalawar, PTI.
Jhalawar’s doctor said nine of the injured children were now admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU).
Witnesses depict the horror
Some of the locals said they informed the time and sub-devisional judge about the status of the school building, but no action was accepted.
“It happened because of the negligence of the administration,” Balkishan, the locals, told reporters.
The PTI report said he was sitting on the road near the school when he heard a loud noise. He turned to see that part of the building collapsed in a cloud of dust and debris. The sounds of screaming children broke through noise.

“I, along with other present present, immediately plunged into the building and started to remove records and stones to save children. He was there chaos. The children were crying and everyone tried to pull them out. Many of us plunged the injured students into the health center,” Balkishan said.
According to collector Jhalawar Ajay Singh, however, the district administration recently ordered the education department to provide information about any dilapidated school building, but this did not appear on the list.
“I will let it investigate and measures will be taken against anyone who is found guilty,” Singh PTI said.
Other locals claimed that they had saved the children and plunged them into a private vehicle in private vehicles before helping from the administration.
