The State Vigilation Commission recommended the government to initiate criminal proceedings against approximately 50 officials and retirement, as well as the contracting agency L&T Precision Engineering Systems (L&T-PES), which accuses them for the collapse of Medigadda Barrage of Kaleshwaam.

The Commission has ordered the Department of irrigation and Development of the Command (I & CAD) to initiate the main disciplinary proceedings against 33 officials, including engineers and financial department officials, for procedural and supervision.

Procedures should be in the form of the rules of Telangana Civil Services (behavior and appeal), the committee said. These include Cheeti Muralidhar, Chief Engineer (General), N. Venkateshwarl, Chief Engineer, Kaleshware Project, Gajjela Hari Hara Charty B. Venkateshwar, Chief Engineer, Quality Control, I & CAD, Chatla Gangadhar, V. Ajaya Kumar and A. Narender.
The criminal proceedings were proposed against 17 officers and the L&T-PES agency, whose action led to the sinking of the fingers of Medigadd and also caused a huge financial loss of the treasury. 17 are among the 33, which have already been picked up on disciplinary and penalty proceedings.
The supplier, the L&T-PES, also came under control for violation of the key conditions of the additional agreement and for defective the foundations of the Secant pilot, which directly led to sinking the structure of the fire.
The Commission stated that the L&T-PES agency would be able to carry the full cost of replacing block no.
The Commission also called for the liability of higher officials, including the main secretaries of the I & CAD and finance departments who approved deviations and financial proposals during the reworking and executions from April 2015 to October 2023.
The Commission, which proposed reforms for such conduct in the future, issued a Directive for I & CAD, Financial Department and GAD. They include conscientious compliance with standards and contractual conditions, compulsory joint inspections, approval of revision for design changes, comprehensive model studies of third -party experts, maintaining records of suppliers to face false requirements and enforcement of work insurance.
