According to a TMZ report, Kristin Cabot will be the keynote speaker at the conference in Washington. Titled “Kristin Cabot: Taking Back The Narrative,” the event will feature a 30-minute discussion with PR professional Dini von Mueffling.
The talk is part of PRWeek’s Crisis Comms Conference. The April 2026 conference offers tickets ranging from $750 to $875, with 14 others also joining the event as speakers.
Sharing details about the event, a user on X, formerly Twitter, wrote, “The woman behind the viral Coldplay kiss cam ‘cashes in’ on her fame will be the keynote speaker at the $875-per-person event in Washington, DC. Kristin Cabot and her then-boss, Astronomer CEO Andy Byron, went viral last July at a Coldplay concert.”
Netizens react to Kristin Cabot’s upcoming lecture
In response, some people on the microblogging site accused Cabot of cashing in on the viral scandal. A user wrote in the comments: “This is the biggest load of corporate bulls**t I’ve ever heard in my life.”
“One thing she may have overlooked is her tarnished personal reputation. She will forever be remembered as a woman who cheated. It’s a smart move to turn the story around in crisis communications, but I wonder what she sacrificed on a personal level,” added another.
One user said: “Her life vital on the Coldplay kiss cam would make this a double sided coin for those buying tickets. Heads or tails situation… Some people might see it as bad PR while others might not care (sic) anyway.”
Another commented: “Honestly… if the internet happened to make me famous, I’d probably cash in too. Rent is paid.”
Another wrote: “This can only happen in America.”
Someone else said: “I don’t know who would pay $875 to be in this, but props to her – that’s an impressive comeback.”
“From kiss to payoff… literally,” commented another.

What happened at the Coldplay concert
Kristin Cabot and Andy Byron were spotted on Coldplay’s Kisscam in the audience. The two were spotted in a cozy, panicked embrace.
Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin quipped from the stage: “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”
Kristin Cabot was reportedly separated from her husband during that time. However, she and Byron faced strong backlash from the internet. She recently blamed the incident on alcohol and talked about being hounded by paparazzi, receiving death threats, 500 or 600 phone calls a day after the viral incident to the New York Times.
Cabot also mentioned that she split from her husband Andrew Cabot “a few weeks before the Coldplay concert”.
