On Tuesday, the Forest Minister Ak Sasendran ordered the transfer of Kodanad Forest Range Range R. Atheesh over the controversial arrest of Rapper Hirandas Mural, alias Vedan.
According to official release, the officer is moved from the Malayattoor Forest division after sharing unverified details with the media during the investigation.
Among his controversial publication, he joined the accused with Sri Lanka, a statement that was not officially verified. Such comments made during the active investigation were considered inappropriate and not in accordance with the right investigative standards.
The Minister stated that the action followed the preliminary investigation, which considered the actions of Prima facie officer by violating the Code of Behavior expected from government officials.
He added that the head of the forest forces was instructed to carry out a detailed investigation of this matter and present the final report. Other events would be determined on the basis of its findings.
