Coco Gauff said he had to raise his game to get her first title French Open. The American young man lost the back-to-back final on Clay and is trying to be lucky for the third time when playing in Roland Garros. At the beginning of this month, Gauff lost with World No.1 Aryna Sabalenka in Madrid Open Final.
Saturday Gauff went down to Italy Jasmine Paoliniwho became the first Italian wife in 40 years to win Roman masters. Paolini, who is ready to recover his place No. 4 in the WTA ranking, won the match 6-4, 6-2 at the Court centers.
“Hopefully I can get to the finals in Roland Garros and maybe” for the third time is the magic “is a real thing,” Gauff told reporters.
“Overall, I lost with two quality rivals, Aryna in Madrid and Jasmine.
Against Paolini, Gauff earned two breaks, dropped her five times. She was preliminary with her second portions, won 55 percent of them and made seven double mistakes. However, when new charts come out, it will be the new world No. 2.
“I made the final with these mistakes. I did the final may not play my best tennis. It just gives me confidence if I can find out that a good form is heading to Roland Garroso, I can do it well there,” added Gauff.
The French Open is scheduled at the beginning of 25 May. Last year, Gauff advanced to the semifinals, but lost to Iga Swiatlek, who continued to create the Tall of the French Open titles.
