The Indian Coast Guard was rescued on Sunday by a fisherman who fell from Vallam and spent over four hours stuck at sea. The official release said ICGS Rani Durgavati watched him in the water while on the tracking patrol and immediately saved him. It was brought to the shore to Karaikal. The Indian Coast Guard station in Karaikal provided him with medical attention and handed it over to the police, he added.
