Eluru Two Town Police registered a case against an athlete of a sports school who allegedly behaved with girls’ students indecent.
The defendant, the NV Vinayak Prasad, allegedly sexually abused athletes who studied at the school located in the city a few days ago.
The coach asked a smaller girl to come to her room and touched her inappropriately, even if she resisted and begged her to leave her, it was reportedly.
The girl complained about the wrong behavior of an athlete coach of the higher authorities who asked and confirmed sexual harassment in a government sports school.
Based on the complaint, the police registered the case under the POCSO Act and other sections and stated the investigation, said the police superintendent Eluru of the district supervisor K. Pratap Shiva Kishhore.
“We are investigating the case. The police will record the victim’s statements. The accused will soon be arrested,” Mr. Pratap Shiva Kishhore said on Sunday.
