
Co -founder Easemytrip Prashant Pitti recently tolerated a two -hour traffic jam, while on Saturday evening he covered only 11 kilometers.
Bengaluru’s notorious operation has long been growing in Indian technological capital. After first -hand experienced, Pitti undertook £1 Crore to identify the soucler points and help solve the problem.
Founder’s vision
Pitti announced on X (formerly Twitter) that it has a proposal to find Bangalore Chokepoints using Google Maps, artificial intelligence and machine learning.
“I was stuck at one point of the choke in Orr, where I spent 100 minutes trying to understand why there is no traffic or cop,” Pitti said in his post.
Pitti’s initiative aims to exceed mere complaints and for tangible solutions, as he firmly stated: “I don’t want one more Bengaluru or boasts. I want to fix it.”
What is the founder’s proposal?
Pitti submitted a proposal for X, which speaks of potential solutions for identifying and repairing close places in the city.
- Google Maps Maps and AI: use “Insight Road Administration” Google Maps, city level data in a large queries format, along with satellite images.
- Chokepoint identification: The aim is to eliminate all Chokepoints and their accurate timing for a month.
This data obtained will then be shared with the transport department, which in turn will focus their efforts on these areas specifically.
Investment proposal
To revive the vision, Pitti commits £1 crore that will finance the following:
- Senior ML/AI Engineers: Hiring 1-2 experienced experts in machine learning and artificial intelligence to join the cause.
- Technological Infrastructure: Budget coverage for using Google Maps calls, satellite images and powerful GPU infrastructure needed for data processing and model training.
