Christian Medical College (CMC) has launched advanced ophthalmic and therapeutic services for patients with eye cancer, especially children with retinoblastoma, the most common type of eye cancer, as well as retinopathy of premature, eye diseases that have recently been born in the whale.
According to a press release, the equipment financed by Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited (KMBL) included the digital digital digital system of the Retinal-Spička Widescreen camera for displaying interior of the affected eyes. This initiative also included a diode laser transpillar thermotherapeutic unit – a laser machine for the treatment of eye tumors, a new tonometer for eye pressure measurement, as well as selective laser software for trabeculoplastics for glaucoma treatment.
At his address Vikram Mathews, director of CMC Vallore, he said that retinoblastoma is in time and instantly treated cancer. “With this state -of -the -art device, CMC will be able to double the number of patients who benefit.
Himanshu Nivsarkar from Kotak Mahindra Bank said that access to quality health care should be right, especially for children fighting life -threatening conditions such as eye cancer. “Through partnership with CMC, the bank will help transform the lives of young patients and their families,” he said.
This initiative supports the awarding of the Angvanced Life Support (ICU) Ambulance (ICU) to facilitate trouble -free inter -sickness transfers for emergency medical service (EMS) CMC. CMC doctors, CMC medical professionals and nurses provide approximately 1,000 critically adults and pediatric patients every month, the edition said.
