CMC to organize conference on gene therapy in Vellore
The 11th International Conference on Cell and Gene Therapy (CGTCON 2026) will be held at the Christian Medical College (CMC) in Vellore on October 8.
According to a press release, the conference including the workshop will be organized by the Center for Stem Cell Research, a collaborative unit of BRIC-Institute for Stem Cell Science and Regenerative Medicine (inStem), Bengaluru and CMC.
This year’s conference, which ends on October 10, will present developments in the areas of serious diseases such as hematological, ophthalmological, diabetic and metabolic, neurological, cardiovascular and dermatological disorders. It will also cover organoids and disease modelling, nucleic acid delivery technologies and industrial, manufacturing and regulatory aspects of advanced therapeutics.
CGTCON 2026 aims to strengthen collaboration between clinicians, scientists, industry partners and regulatory bodies, the release said.
