The consignments in this regard were officially flagged off by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in Bengaluru. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister noted that the demand for KMF ghee is increasing globally.
According to a statement by KMF Managing Director B. Shivaswamy, KMF has orders for supply of ghee amounting to 8 tonnes from the UAE, 5 tonnes from the US and one tonne from Australia.
He said KMF currently exports its premium products such as UHT tetra pack milk, ghee, butter, cheese, dairy whitener, ice cream, flavored milk, sweets and desserts to Dubai, Qatar, Brunei, Maldives and Singapore, which have a significant concentration of Kannadigas.
