The Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan called on all schools in the state to prepare and submit an academic main plan by June 15, helping to improve the overall effectiveness of the education system together with the development of infrastructure
The chairman of the Minister, who started the re -opening of the school at the state level at the Kalavorian government in Alappuzha, announced that significant changes are in the pipeline, especially in the methods of evaluation. He said the government was working to put the entire school system in a unified framework.
“Along with the increase in academic standards, the mental well -being of students will be the main priority. The government is determined to become our students at every step of their educational path,” the main minister said.
In remarking with a remarkable turn of Kerala in public education, he noted that in 2016 almost five students of the Lakh left government schools and more than 1,000 institutions closed due to low registration. Over the past nine years, however, the state has invested 5,000 GBP Crore in the overwork of public education by introducing intelligent classrooms, modernization of infrastructure and performing students focused on students.
The main minister declared the new academic year for the “year of comprehensive quality improvement” early printing and distribution of textbooks before the re -opening of the school. He stressed that a new educational vision should make learning a joyful experience and support values such as critical thinking, empathy and social responsibility.
Minister of Education V. Sivankutty chaired that before the start of the school year, over three textbooks of crore were printed and distributed. He also emphasized the key reform – a successful implementation of the transparent online teacher transfer system. In addition, he noted that the content of the author’s student was included in this year’s curriculum.
Bhadra Hari, student SVVHSS, Thamarakkuje in Kottarakkara, were chosen as an official thematic song for the event. The piece was composed and sung by a renowned music director Alphons Joseph.
During the ceremony, the main minister also published a book that recorded the achievements of the Ministry of Public Education and handed over the first copy of Minister Saji Cherian. The event was attended by the Minister of Agriculture P. Praad as the main guest.
