Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed the Industries Department officials to complete the acquisition of land earmarked for industrial development as soon as possible so that the land can be allotted to firms that have entered into MoUs with the state government for setting up their units.
Officials should take steps to classify industries that have signed the MoU into three categories, and firms with global reputations should be given first priority in allocating land. While developing plant/equipment for industries, a planned approach should be taken keeping in mind their future needs.
