Main Minister Siddaramaiah explained on Wednesday that the Governor Thaawwarchand Gehlot was invited to take part in the function of organized to felicitate members of the Royal Challengers Bengalur (RCB) on the steps of Vidhan Juda 4 June.
In an interview with reporters in Gauribidanur in the Chickball district, the main minister said that the governor did not participate in this function himself, as proposed by part of the media, but was invited to this function.
“K. Govindaraju, MLC, called Mr. Gehlot on the phone and then told me to talk to the governor,” the main minister said. “The whole function ended in 20 minutes.”
A few days ago he spoke to reporters, the Deputy Minister of DK Shivakumar said he was not aware of who invited Mr. Gehlot to take part.
Governor took part in the Felicitation ceremony with Mr. Siddaramaiah, Mr. Shivakumar and a number of ministers, including G. Parameshware, BZ Zemeer Khan and MC Sudhakar.
