Main Minister A. Revanth Reddy emphasized the importance of creating a safe and spacious environment for the cattle, suggested that cows shelters be originally established in the premises of veterinary and agricultural universities, their associated universities and selected temples throughout the state.
At a high -level inspection meeting focused on the development and management of shelters for cows across Telangana and ordered the creation of a specialized committee to supervise the establishment of shelters for cows. He wanted the Committee to formulate a plan that could be put into a specified time frame and asked officials to identify suitable land for this purpose.
In accordance with this vision, the main minister suggested that each cow’s shelter be set up on a large ground land with an area of 50 hectares to provide enough space for grazing and free roaming to avoid overload and ensure animal comfort.
It emphasized the importance of involving charity organizations in the protection and maintenance of these shelters and called on to include estimates full budget in the proposed plans. The plan with the most modern facilities for shelter construction, cattle care and overall management was designed.
The main minister also reviewed the architectural designs for the upcoming shelters of a cow scheduled for MK Pall, which is located in the Moinabad Mandal district of Rangaredda. He proposed some modifications and asked officials to complete the proposals within four to five days.
At the Revision meeting, CM, the main secretaries of V. Ushadri and Srinivasa Raju, the special secretary Ajith Reddy, Commissioner Hmda Sarfaraz Ahmed, the director of the animal breeding department, the collector of the Rangareddy Narayan Reddy district.
