If you look at CM Punk and Rhea Ripley, it’s easy to find out why there are two of the most popular super -stars in WWE right now. The journey seems to be much different, yet similar in many ways for both stars within society. Both are drawing big money, popular fans, the best in the world when it comes to working in the ring, and their characters seem to associate with the audience on the screen.
Now both superstars are heading for Summerslam 2025 as applicants 1 – with punk takeover of Gunther at the WWE heavyweight World Championship, while Ripley takes over the champion Naomi and Iyo Sky for the world title of women.
But what happens outside the ring when Punk becomes Phil Brooks and Ripley is Demi Bennett? Both are kind parents of dogs – that’s something that everyone would like to see. But besides, the fans would eager to know how both super -stars are like outside the ring. And new WWE documents with Netflix, WWE: Unreal, the kind gives us a creeping look. From the view of your favorite superstars to see how every match is made, it is the right Kayfabe breaking, if you are a WWE fan and five -part documents will be available from July 29.
Well, that was something that CM punk was not completely ready, because he and Ripley today had an exclusive chat with India about the document – and also a little about the match.
“I still don’t know how comfortable I am. Even when I’m talking to you here and saying the word kayfabe, it makes my skin a little crazy. But it’s a brave new world.
And there is also a good reason. The match for a long time concerned the character and tricks that the super -star playing and not Kayfabe. But for Punk, it feels that this is a chance for the younger generation to see the human side of wrestlers and draw inspiration to solve some problems such as anxiety.
“They see cm punk when they turn on Netflix and look at Monday evening RAW.
“I know we’re talking a lot about anxiety problems, and I just think, you know as a little girl who has it quite difficult, and then sees Rhea and sees Rhea reacts in real time to her anxiety and things trying and I think he can give it. Before I tried to protect myself, and that is important.
Netflix experience
The agreement with Netflix has certainly changed the experience of fans when it comes to WWE. The feeling increases and improves, leading to global wrestling juggernaut and bringing more spectators. But what was the experience for SuperStars?
Ripley feels that it has been wild since WWE launched its partnership with Netflix and felt it was beneficial to all involved. He says it’s good to have new eyes.
“It was wild. I feel that the publicity that WWE has gained from a partnership with Netflix was so beneficial not only for society but all of us. I.
For Punk he feels that Netflix has made them accessible all over the world than it has been with cable and network TV in the last few decades.
“Yeah, I think Wwe Wrestling was on cable and network TV for 30-40 years. So as a super -star, you almost take it for granted. Just as it is as big as it gets, and then Netflix comes and realize that, Oh, that’s much bigger and now it’s like much global and areas that we couldn’t.”
“I think India could be quite a big market. Everyone has Netflix on their phones, so I feel that we are even more accessible and more accessible to people around the world now, and that’s very exciting,” Punk said.
Cenavers
After an interview about the documentary and Netflix it was finished, it was time to get into one of the wrestling events and rivalry for both super -stars. As far as punk is concerned, his greatest rivalry was with the legendary John. From the infamous promo pipebomb to Punk’s victory for money in the bank in 2011, the price over the years is a major presence in the second career of the Holy City.
Both men launched it again at night of the 2025 champions, where the prize won, and Triple H confirmed after the event that the rivalry was done. Punk commented his iconic rivalry and confirmed that it was really the last time to face the price inside the WWE ring, with At the end of the year, the 17 -fold world champion to retire.
Punk said he pulled out the price and told him he wanted to be part of a retirement tour of Cenation leader and was willing to do everything necessary.
“The night of the champions was really important for me night personally and professionally and emotionally. Yeah, that’s it (for rivalry at the price). John wrote his own ticket for me. John can do whatever he wants.

The former WWE champion will find his rivalry with the prize more like a romantic novel.
“Like that, there is something romantic and poetic, punk rival John price and cm. It’s the beginning, it’s middle and now it’s over and that’s life,” Punk said.
Well, for Ripley, she is currently like a young punk in a female division. She also had several big rivals for her – with the current one with Iyo Sky she captures the imagination of fans. They added the clinic to the main events of WWE Evolution 2 and the question was simple:
Is Iyo Sky The John Price to Ripley’s Cm Punk?
The former world champion said he had several “prize” in his career, named Bianca Belair as one, but said that Iyo fills this place. Ripley said that in terms of story and connection, she sees in her Iyo shades the famous price – punk rivalry.
“I’ve never thought about it. It’s hard because I feel like I have a few John Cenas in my career. I feel that Bianca Belair is also John price, but I mean the sky, surely fills me.
Will Aj Lee come back?
One question that punk continued since its return WWE was, if his wife in real life and the former WWE Divas champion, Aj Lee, would follow his traces. There were rumors and suggestions that Evolution 2 would be the phase of her return, but Lee just did not appear.
We watched the same trend as everyone else and asked if we would ever see Lee returned to WWE ring. Punk said that even if it does not evoke it for his wife, selfishly, he would like to see her return to WWE – but only if she cares about it.
“I don’t know (laughs). I love my wife. She’s my best girlfriend. It’s not 100 percent on me. So I always say that selfishly if I was up to me if I made a decision for her and believe me, no.
“He’s very busy. He’s very brilliant. Many things are doing. It’s not even like a ball on her judgment.
Punk feels that time will be an important factor if Lee returns and showed his own return to society as an example.
“It’s just things that weren’t going to be busy by doing other things, and the timing wasn’t right.
Ripley certainly eager to have Lee back in WWE. The nightmare said she would like to face her – but more than that only when she returns when she returns, she will hear the crowd’s response.
“Yeah, if she were to come back, I’d like to face her.
“To hear the reaction of the fans and all who participated when she did her entrance. It’s something so special and it doesn’t even have to be a complete match, I just want to be part of what is part. I want to be there on the day it returns.
And so we saw a little Phil Brooks and Demi Bennett – even though they discussed their wrestling career. While Kayfabe may be sacred in business, Punk and Ripley have decided to keep the real, rather unreal.
