
The exports from the Kerala Information Technology (IT) industry are about to touch the dominant of 1 ₹ Lakh Crore, which is due to a favorable ecosystem and infrastructure created by the state government, said Chief Minister of Pinarayi Vijayan.
He said that more investment was flowing into this sector because the state offered good connectivity, talent fund and the most modern equipment. The presence of the port of Vishinjam also played the main role. He spoke after the new Research and Development Center (R&D) established software as a service provider (SAAS) Zoho Corporation in Neduvloor in Kottarakara.
6,400 start -up businesses
Mr. Vijayan said the state currently has 6,400 start -ups. Through these start -ups, approximately 6,000 crore in investments came to the state. Minister of Finance KN Balagopal chaired the position in which the main guest was Kodikunil Suresh, a deputy.
