Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said that more than 200 US companies across sectors such as IT, Pharmaceuticals, Defense, Manufacturing and Aerospace, already operating outside Hyderabad, and there is a constant effort to deepen business links.
CM introduced an ambitious vision of telangans to become an economy of $ 1 trillion by 2035 and by 2047 with $ 3 trillion by 2047. He was looking for support from the United States in achieving this goal and saying, “We believe Telangana can be overwhelmed for innovation, technology and investment with stronger American cooperation.”
He remembered that the Teluga community flourished in the US and thousands of students and professionals from Telangana watched their dreams. “Even Telugu language in the US is growing rapidly,” he said, expressing pride in cultural exchange between the two societies.
Mr. Reddy remembered that the foundations of the US-Telangana relationship were laid during the possession of former main ministers Ys Rajasekhar Reddy, under whose leadership the US General Consulate was founded in Hyderabad.
CM appreciated the role of Consul General Jennifer Larson in the merger as a “strong bridge” between the two regions.
Consul General Jennifer Larson said Hyderabad shows the strength of the US and India’s relationship through its innovation and cooperation. The US Chargé d’Affaires Jorgan Andrews noted that the US-India relationship was based on the foundations of shared democratic values, mutual respect and commitment to global progress.
