Telangany has created history in its way to social security and on Monday launched a nationwide distribution of more than 5.61 lakh new ration cards in one stage, while the main Minister A. Revanth Reddy, together with his cabinet colleagues, launched it in Tungaturty in the district Suryapet.
On this occasion, Mr. Reddy said that his government is determined to restore the self -esteem of the poor through programs such as influence cards, agricultural insurance and exemptions from the loan. He said that 5.6 lakh new ration cards were sanctioned, 26 lakh people were added to the ration system, and 3.10 crore people were given fine rice. He also promised to bring Godavari water to Tungaturty through the Devdula project.
The Minister of Food and Civil Surgers N. Uttam Kumar Reddy called this movement “revolution in the provision of public services” and would now be guaranteed by a ration card. He said that the BRS regime rejected the lakhs of poor families their rights to food, not only by refusing to issue new ration cards, but also by blocking updates, such as completion or erase of family members, causing serious problems for growing households.
The opening meant the first extensive distribution of allocation cards in more than 11 years, while the total number of ration holders at 95.56 lake households covered more than 3.09 recipients of Crore, he said.
Mr. Uttam Kumar Reddy said that the drive was part of a wider transformation that made Telangana the world’s first state in order to provide 6 kg of fine rice per person to 80% of his population, without cost.
The Minister said that this program was a real well -being inspired by the vision of the leader of the Sonia Gandhi Congress, under whose leadership UPA approved the National Food Security Act.
Mr. Uttam Kumar Reddy revealed that the TELAngany government has now spent 13,000 GBP Crore per year to gain and distribute fine rice. No other state offers this quality level without cost.
He also accused the BRS government, stating that Civil Supplies Corporation was crippled 59,000 GBP Crore in obligations and 11,000 GBP Crore at collected losses. The Congress government not only revived the department, but changed it to the most ambitious program in the field of module in India.
