
The Chief Minister Siddaramaiah launched a drinking water project in Pavagada in Pavagada on Monday in three districts in three districts.
After the project inauguration, he said that he would end the permanent crisis of drinking water in Pavagada and the villages of Chitradurg and Vijayanagara districts. The project will benefit nearly 17.5 lamps.
The main minister, who laid the cornerstone of the project in January 2018, said the drinking water system would help improve people’s health because they suffer from drinking water with fluoride. The water is supplied to Pavagada from the TB dam, which is located at a distance of 230 km.
He said that Pavagada Taluk, who was one of the most backward tallows in the state and district of Tumacur, will be developed. He also laid the basis for the 2,250 MW solar energy project and other development programs.
The program was attended by the Minister of the Interior G. Parameshware and other district MLA.
