The Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said on Monday that Karnataka became a progressive state and second in the collection of tax on goods and services (GST) in the country, to a large extent due to government employees’ obligation to effectively fulfill their duties.
Follow the constitutional principles
The Chief Minister, who spoke organized to the Sarvotham Seva Awards for 2023 to 30 state government officials/employees, told employees to follow the institute and fulfill their duties to ensure the elimination of inequalities in the cash regards and secure the secular society. The function of the government was aimed at fulfilling the aspirations of people according to the Constitution, he said.
Siddaramaiah told employees to imitate the ideals preached by Buddha, Basavanna, Mahatma Gandhi and Bros Ambedkar. The ideals followed by these leaders were enshrined in the constitution, he said.
The main minister said that the beneficiaries of the recipients have increased and the models for other employees should become. All government employees fulfill their duties in favor of the company, he said.
Don’t let them run around
In an interview with the same function, the representative of the main Minister DK Shivakumar urged government employees to ensure that ordinary citizens who come to them to do their work are not forced to run from the pillar to disclose the contribution and ask them to one after another.
“Lakhs are asking for only 50 to 100 jobs. Do not forget that it is a rare opportunity to get work in the government and use it to serve people,” said Mr. Shivakumar.
The program was attended by the Office of the Association of State Government Employees and the Association and Higher Officials.
