On the occasion of World Heritage Day 2026, the Quli Qutub Shah Urban Development Authority (QQSUDA) organized a scavenger hunt and treasure hunt at the historic Irrum Manzil Palace in collaboration with the Roads and Buildings Department and the Deccan Archives on Saturday (April 18). The initiative brought renewed attention to the heritage structure and attracted the participation of more than 60 volunteers.
Special Principal Secretary, Department of Urban Administration and Urban Development, Jayesh Ranjan, highlighted the historical significance of Irrum Manzil and its potential for conservation and adaptive reuse. He said the upcoming Heritage Partner Scheme of the Telangana government could play a key role in preserving such places.
