On Saturday afternoon, over 400 people, including women and children, gathered in Dharna Chowk in Indira Park, including women and children to protest against the WAQF change law. The rally was organized by the Muslim Action Committee of Telangana (JAC).
People took part in the protest by holding labels and listening to speeches that express growing concerns about the crime.
Jac Convelor and Tehreek Muslim Shabban President Mohammed Mushtaq Malik criticized the “systematic weakening of Muslim institutions” and urged political parties and groups of civic society to support resistance. The provisions of the New Testament would prepare a way for greater state control over religious foundations, he said.
The described legislation as far -reaching than previous concerns about CAA and NRC, Mr. Malik questioned the removal of community guarantees and provisions that allow non -Muslim appointment to WAQF radička. He also stressed that the Council for Personal Legal Law to maintain political neutrality if he intends to lead a credible movement against the act.
The Vice -Chairman of the Congress Mahil of Khairatabad Asma Ibrahim asked the public to participate in these marches to prove her support against the law. “The government is after the draft WAQF law to focus on us. We should not let them discriminate for us. I ask my sisters to join us in this protest,” she said.
The leaders of various political parties were present, including Congress, BRS, MBT and Telangan Jan Samithi.

Police of the central zone ended the area with 300 meters of safety circuit to avoid any undesirable incident.
