All stations on the Delhi Metro network resumed normal passenger services on Sunday after the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) called off its agitations at Jantar Mantar, ending days of security restrictions and gradual closure of stations in central Delhi.
CJP protest ends
Delhi Metro has reopened entry and exit gates at all stations. This followed days of restrictions at 18 central stations in Delhi.
After that, mobile internet services were also restored around Jantar Mantar. Access was suspended during the NEET-UG protests. The security barricades outside the main stations have since been completely removed.

The CJP confirmed that it had withdrawn its agitation after the government’s assurance. Spokesman Saurav Das said he believed the agreed terms would be met.
This happened after the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan from the post of Union Education Minister. The government has agreed to provide compensation for NEET aspirants who died by suicide. It also secured the withdrawal of FIRs against various protesters across the country.
Union Minister JP Nadda confirmed the acceptance of key demands of the protesters. Pralhad Joshi now has the additional charge of the Ministry of Education.
