CJP Founder Abhijeet Dipke Targets PM Modi Over NEET Paper Leaks: ‘If He Can Stop Ukraine War, Why Not This’ | Today’s news
Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Dipke said it was Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s responsibility to make Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resign over exam-related lapses.
Addressing a press conference in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra on June 7, a day after his newly formed outfit staged a protest at Jantar Mantar in the state capital for Pradhan’s resignation over the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak and the problems faced by the CBSE on-screen marking (OSM) mechanism, Dipke stressed that questions need to be asked about the mechanism.

The system will only become correct when the youth raise their voice, he said.
“Just voting once every five years is not politics. People need to question those they voted for,” he said.
Asked why he did not talk about PM Modi (during the Jantar Mantar agitation), Dipke said, “If the responsibility (of the exam invalidation) is not resolved, it is Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s responsibility to accept Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation.”
If he can stop the war between Russia and Ukraine, he can’t stop the paper leak, Dipke asked.
Has PM Modi stopped the war?
In March 2022, after thousands of Indian students were stranded in active conflict zones such as Kharkiv and Sumy, Prime Minister Modi reportedly held several phone conversations with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
A BJP campaign video dramatized the student’s return from Ukraine and showed her firmly believing that PM Modi would take her home. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said that as a direct result of these diplomatic communications, localized shelling and fighting have been suspended to create safe corridors for Indian nationals.
I was there both times when PM Modi was on the phone. I am an eyewitness, I was there,” Jaishankar told The Lallantop when asked if the Indian prime minister had spoken to Putin to stop the fighting.
While some politicians have occasionally characterized these localized humanitarian ceasefires at campaign rallies as “stopping the war”, the official explanation is that the wider Russian-Ukrainian war has never been stopped
On the Gen Z protests in Bangladesh and Nepal
Dipke also warned that he would stage protests in various states and cities of the country if Pradhan did not resign by June 13 over the alleged irregularities in examinations and recruitment tests.
Asked about the recent Gen Z protests in Nepal and Bangladesh on Sunday, Dipke stressed that the CJP movement was peaceful and could not be compared to the demonstrations that took place in neighboring countries. CJP is exclusively for Gen Z and will not be associated with any political party, he claimed

Thousands of people participated in the CJP protests held at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on June 6, demanding Pradhan’s resignation over alleged paper leak cases in the country.
In a video posted on X on Sunday evening, Dipke said, “Earlier I said that if Dharmendra Pradhan does not resign by Saturday (June 13), the agitation will spread. If I go in this direction, if Pradhan does not resign, I will personally go to various cities and states and take out protests demanding his resignation.”
He also spoke about plans for the next phase of the agitation in the national capital. “If Dharmendra Pradhan won’t step down even after protests in the states, we will have no option but to agitate again. Students from different corners of the country will then gather in New Delhi and agitate peacefully.”
“We will not stop until Pradhan resigns. He should take moral responsibility for destroying the future of more than one million students,” Dipke said.
